Description

Introducing the all New HP Latex 630W 64" Printer

The HP Latex 630W Includes the ability to print with White Ink

The HP Latex 630W is able to print white in the 4 below white print modes.

    • Spot White

      • The white ink layer is printed in the same Z axis layer as the color inks

    • Underflood

      • The white ink layer is printed under the color inks layer.

    • Overflood

      • The white ink layer is printed on top of the color ink layer.

    • 3-Layer

      • The white ink layer is sandwiched between 2 color ink layers.

The HP Latex 630W uses the same 832 1-liter inks used on the Latex 700 Series.  This means the HP 630W adds the below Gen4 Latex Ink features to a lower equipment price point.

    • The new 832 inks have the scratch inhibitors removed from the actual ink and instead is another “color” similar to how the optimizer is. This new “color” is called Over Coat. This enables the printer operator to turn it on or off depending on if the graphic will be laminated.

    • New 832 Inks have more pigment per drop than the 300/500 series inks. This enables same color with less inks or more saturation at the same ink level as the outgoing printers.

    • The 832 inks have White ink available.

    • New 832 Inks has been formulated to cure at temperatures up to 30% lower than the 300/500 series inks.

    • HP Latex 630 use the 832 1-liter ink cartridge that is made out of cardboard.
    • The HP Latex 630W printer has a total of 6 print heads.

    • The new 836 Print Heads have about 50% more nozzles than the 300/500 series print heads.

    • The new 836 Print Heads also have a newer nozzle shape that allows for better dot placement enabling up to 4pt font.

The HP Latex 630W uses the same 836 Print Heads used on the Latex 700/800 Series.  This means the HP 630W adds the below Gen4 Latex Print Head features to a lower equipment price point.

The inside of the curing module has been redesigned allowing printing from the leading edge of most materials.  This allows operators to save material which saves money.

Print head replacements are now easier with the updated design of the printer. The top of the unit simply lifts up and you get full access to the carriage.

The 630W also includes the offline rotation chamber to keep your white print heads in a ready to print state without wasting ink, reducing the maintenance cost of having a white ink printer.
