    Creasing Tools

    The Summa F Series uses six creasing wheel options in the Tangential Module, each designed for different board thicknesses and fold characteristics. The wheel dimensions identify the diameter (D), radius (R), width (W), and height (H) of the crease profile.

    Creasing Tools

      • D50 R1.5 H0.6 for Summa F-Series flatbed cutters. It is designed for use in the Tangential Module and is intended for creasing thicker cardboard, corrugated board, packaging materials, and POS display materials before folding.

      • D25 R3 W8 H7Heavy corrugated board (B, C, BC flutes), thicker display materials. Produces a wide, deep crease for easy folding.

      • D25 R1.5 W8 H5.5General-purpose corrugated and folding carton work. The most commonly used crease wheel for packaging.

      • D25 R0.75 W1.5 H1.5Folding carton and lighter paperboard. Creates a narrower crease with less material displacement. D15 R0.35 W0.7 H1–2 pt

      • D15 R0.18 W0.7 H1.5–1 pt 1–2 point cardstock, greeting cards, presentation folders, and lightweight packaging.
